We’re delighted to announce that B’Spoke Coffee House – partners Nick Harris and Richard Wright – will be opening their first cafe on 13th September 2018 in one of the huts opposite Heaton Chapel Train Station.

Sue Cook has taken over the running of the flower shop, while the hut on the right has been split off to create a separate rental unit. That’s where we’ll be operating from.

Our cafe will be petite, but it’ll pack a highly caffeinated, speciality quality coffee punch!

Nick Harris and our star employee Jack Corris will be the main baristas at the cafe Monday to Friday 6am-3pm, and later in the year Saturdays 9am-2pm.

We’re keen to promote fantastic speciality coffee in the Heatons and assume the mantel of being the pre-eminent go to place for exceptional quality coffee. We are already the flagship business in the heatons on #KickThePlastic scheme.

To this end, we’ll be hosting regular cupping sessions where we’ll sample different coffees and discuss taste, origin, quality and ethical farming practices. And of course, these will be free, such is our love of the bean!

We’ll also expand our merchandise range- offering ground coffee from our main partner roasters Heart & Graft and Ancoats Coffee, as well as other fine, selected guest coffees.

We’ll also be selling artisan sandwiches made by Kauri Fine Foods. These are very healthy and made from all organic ingredients. Jack Corris is also a fantastic baker and will continue to furnish us with granola bars, brownies and other fine bakes known collectively as Jack’s Stash.

We heartily welcome you to drop by the cafe from the 13th September and enjoy a brew. All drinks during our opening week are half price, so please do come by and see us.
