The 4 Heatons Summer Festival will go ahead as planned.  Just back from the park, which is drying out nicely, we have had to move a few stalls, but it's not as bad as we thought, we might even still have the Fun Fair, but that will be their decision not ours.  

The only area affected is the F Field, & so we have moved those stalls,  please, do not go on the grassed area at the side of the tennis court, it's a bit wet.  Small lake is possibly a better phrase. We are trying to get the affected area roped off.

The music is arranged, the Zumba is a goer.  We were a bit worried as to whether the grass could stand a Zumba class, but we have had an expert look at it & he says Yes.

The Great Heatons Bake Off has had over 50 entries so far.  If you have not entered, you still have time,  as long as you have entered & paid by 6 pm tonight you are in with a chance.

Sharon has gone home to sort out the prizes for the Raffle & decide what items are going into the auction & what will be on the Tombola.  Lots of ways to win things & lots of things to win.

Well, today's blog is only short, I need to chill out for a while before getting up at the crack of dawn.  My helpers & I have to be in the park at 7.am to get it ready for you all to arrive at 10.30 am. so an early night for me.
