10 days left - painting signposts & checking insurance

If you go down to the Park today, you may notice that since last year a few of the trees have gone.  So where there was a mini forest in the middle of the Park, there is now an open space, not for walking on, there are low level bushes there, but you can see across it.  So we decided, what a great place to put a signpost, you can stand in the middle of the Park & see where everything is.  Great idea, now build it! Well, it's built, now we just need to put the directions on it, so in between the rain showers I have been painting the finger posts white.  I need to get it done yesterday so that Sharon can do the lettering (along with all the other banners, we have "suggested"  she run up.)

Our meeting yesterday also raised a few points about the insurance, hopefully we will not need it, but for our safety & yours we have it.  Emails have been flying back & forth all day between me & our brokers http://www.wbwilson.co.uk  they are getting used to me emailing, "just thought?" two or three times a day. " Better to be safe than sorry," as my Grandma used to  say.

I am still waiting for numbers of volunteers, hopefully by the weekend I will be getting replies from all the groups who have offered bodies.  Then I can start allocating jobs. The closing date for applying for a commercial stall is tommorrow & then Sharon & Angela start on the daunting task of fitting all the stalls into the Park & deciding who goes where

Exciting news about the Food Area & the Great Heatons Bake Off , but until I get confimation that will have to stay a secret. So keep looking.
